Aparal Forge was a Tiste Liosan. He was among those who drank of Kessobahn's blood and one of the thirteen who survived to become a Soletaken dragon. Due to the large number of "traitors" executed for opposing Kadagar Fant's plan to use the Eleint, Aparal claimed to be one of the only left who would speak their mind to him and did so on a number of occasions upon which Fant subtly threatened him.
