Rene was an inventor for the former king. He refused all other job offers but left later due to the former king's chsnge of heart. When the former King died he told his son Juno to find Rene and apologize for him. He also said to ask Rene to be Juno's advisor. Rene's adoptive little brother Christopher harbored some hatred for Rene because people only acknowleged him as "Genius Rene's little brother." He was so blinded by his hatred that he did not see his own genius.
