The Hydro Blades were Nokama's Toa Tools as a Toa Metru. She used them to channel her Water power. The tools also helped her to swim through the water more quickly. The blades can also deflect attacks by spinning them. She could also use them as grappling hooks. When Nokama was mutated into a Toa Hordika, The Hydro Blades were transformed into Fin Barbs, but the mutation was reversed. They were lost when Nokama transformed into a Turaga.
