The Auto-kinetic rifle was invented and mass-produced by the Volta. The weapon was a common slugthrower and was the most highly used weapon by the Volta into the Galactic Civil War. Even though it was a slugthrower, the rate of fire was more than enough to cause significant damage to immobilize and fatally wound a target.
