Evvy's squat was located in Princes' Heights, one of the poorest districts of Chammur, a city on the easternmost edge of Sotat. Evvy lived there for a few years of her young life, before her magic was discovered by Briar Moss. Her squat was remarkable in that the stone hid her home from view. Whenever people were after Evvy and she sought refuge in her squat, no one would be able to find her as it would seem as though there was no entrance, only rock. Evvy lived there with her cats, and she took her cats with her when she left the city with Rosethorn and Briar.
