The 21st Infantry Division was a infantry division of the United States Army. On January 24th, 1950, Captain Frank Gennaro was transferred to Company C of the 1st Battalion connected to the 21st Infantry in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Gennaro stayed with the 21st Infantry for almost nine months and then volunteered for Project Abraham.
