The Wild Goose Tavern is located in Plattekill Landing on the Hudson River. The Wild Goose is a two story frame building with wide porches on both floors. It is a public house with a bar and dining room on the first floor and lodging on the second. The Wild Goose is a favorite haunt of Kaaterskill Academy of Magic teachers and also of students (3rd year and above) who are occasionally allowed to visit the Landing.
