The Electron Lance was a weapon invented by Professor Adolf Kemper which he used to attack U.S. military aircraft from his base in The Devil's Triangle. Kemper considered the weapon to be his greatest achievement. It used a magnified electron beam which: * generated vibrations which could cause aircraft to fall apart * caused John Probe's computer to malfunction * dissolved Professor Kemper's body into 'a pile of molecules in an old white coat' The electrons could be reflected back on the operator using a mirror.
