Lon Borax is the creator of Yakko, Wakko and Dot . When Borax showed Weed Memlo his nearly finished "Buddy" cartoon, Weed told Borax to make new characters for the cartoon due to its boring nature. Borax consequently went mad when he created them on 2:43 am on the night of February 30th (or so he remembers), 1929. As of The Warners' 65th Anniversary Special, he now lives in the Home for retired animators (who went nuts!!).
