Stanley Ruiz Sn. is the apparent father of Sheemie and worked as a bartender at The Traveller's Rest. After Dolores Sheemer dies, Sheemie felt alone in the world and so often looked to Stanley for help. Though he was never sure that Sheemie was his son he nonetheless liked the boy and looked out for him. When Sheemie got in trouble with Roy Depape after accidentally spilling Camel Piss on him, Stanley tried to protect him by apologizing for his mistake, but was then shot in the mouth by Depape, shattering three of his teeth.
