The 1st story arc was a two-part comic story published by IDW Publishing in 2011, written by Mike Johnson, adapting the original story of TOS episode: "Where No Man Has Gone Before" by Samuel A. Peeples. The beginning of IDW's ongoing series of The Original Series comics, the two parts were the first and second issues of the series.
