Chivalras IX was the King of Ruddlestone and brother of Belgaroth. He is described as a worthy monarch, but had to defend his Kingdom against an insurrection mounted by his brother, who had succumbed to Chaos and regarded Chivalras as weak. The insurrection consumed the kingdom in war, but was successfully quelled. It ended in the death of the usurper, Belgaroth, and the line of Chivalras IX continued.
