The Guard Tank is Princess Cordelia's personal tank operated by the Gallian Royal Guard. The design was based on the Gallian Tank Destroyer but the hull was modified for its royal passenger's comfort. Needless to say, a princess is not expected to ride a tank to battle so the Guard Tank is mainly used in parades or for delivering death notifications. The tank was meant to make an appearance in a cutscene in Valkyria Chronicles when Cordelia would come out riding but the idea was scrapped and the tank cut from the game.
