Mt. Rushmore is a sculpture carved into the granite located in South Dakota. When SG-1 were forced to participate in a trial of Ra, on the first planet they saw the Stargate was on a cliff above a huge image of Ra's head. It was compared to Mt. Rushmore, with the address and passwords carved in the facial beard. (SG1: "The Barque of Heaven")
