A decicred-dreadful was a children's publication, usually in parts, with each part costing a decicred. This allowed children to be able to afford stories without having to purchase an entire work. Some works fictionalized stories of settlers fighting alien raiders and their Huttese counterparts in the expansion of the Slice.
