John Arthur Hughes (November 2, 1880 – May 25, 1942) was a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps and a Medal of Honor recipient for his role in the United States occupation of Veracruz. He died May 25, 1942 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. His grave can be found in section 8, lot 5265.
