The three senior Patriots consider Nakamura-sensei an equal. He trained the Children of Light, a selection of superb youth both Force-sensitive and non, who were taught the traditional arts, diplomacy, and combat; Nakamura-sensei's star pupil was a young Halla Kitani Kaijus, the Shau'ghun's second child.
