The Poltergust 4000 is one of Luigi's cars in Mario Kart DS. It is modeled after the Poltergust 3000, Luigi's primary weapon featured in Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube. The Poltergust 4000 is a car that looks like a vacuum with Luigi's emblem is on the sides of it, unless the player is online where it will be replaced by their personal logo. It is red and the speed is fast. It's possible that it was influenced by the Super Poltergust 3001 from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the Game Boy Advance, which not only looks similar but is also a vehicle.
