Stand-Off Between the NCIS Team and Brett Evans is an incident that occurred in October 2004 in which NCIS Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Caitlin Todd confronted Navy Chaplain Brett Evans who was also revealed to be a serial killer for the abduction of numerous female Naval personnel. The stand-off ultimately ended with Chaplain Evans committing suicide by shooting himself in the mouth with a gun.
