The Galactic Depression was an intergalactic crisis that plagued most factions of the universe from 3,741 BBY to 3,736 BBY. The faction that got hit the hardest was the Galactic Republic which lost millions of credits. The Triple Tsad attacked the Republic in 3,730 BBY by destroying Telos IV. The Great Alliance War raged on after that. The Galactic Depression was the worst thing the Galaxy had faced since the Hundred-Year Darkness and nothing would surpass it until the Yuuzhan Vong War.
