The Attack on Kashyyyk was a small but lengthy conflict between the Wookiees of Kashyyyk and their Trandoshan neighbors. The conflict began in late 4,996 BBY and lasted for months, not ending until roughly halfway through 4,995 BBY with the death of the Trandoshan commander Alsut just hours after the death of Wookiee elder Kelrarro. The war officially ended with the treaty of Kashyyyk, which was witnessed and ratified by representatives of the Galactic Senate.
