A variation of the original iron maiden technique, instead of summoning the entire iron cabinet, Ryoji summons a number of chains from beneath the ground to restrain targets. Like its parent jutsu he can either summon a smaller version or a much larger version of the chains. This variation was first used against the Nine Tailed Demon Fox when it attacked Konoha, Ryoji had summoned a large number of chains to bind the Nine Tails into submission.
