Tzora was the smallest of the major cities at the time of the Age of Legends. It was known for its huge, multicoloured glass towers, varying in shape and glittering in the sunlight. The city was destroyed by the male Aes Sedai Jaric Mondoran when he went insane after the Dark One cursed saidin. Ten thousand Da'shain Aiel sacrificed themselves to buy an extra hour for the people of the city to flee. Mondoran then unleashed an immense wave of heat which fused the stone, metal and flesh of the city together, leaving behind only a sheet of glass.
