The principle enemy of the Game Master and a being of power beyond measure, the Sovereign of Sorrow was apparently broken into three parts during the Great Change, and now seeks to reunify herself. She apparently has the power to, among other things, subvert to her will those who feel true sadness. Her goal currently appears to be the destruction of Videoland itself.
