Walker joined Chester on August 22 2007 from Altrincham, after a successful trial period with the club. This spell included him scoring in a friendly against Northwich Victoria. He has yet to make his first-team debut for the club but was an unused substitute when Chester visited Carlisle United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in October 2007. He has also regularly been involved in reserve team matches. Walker has squad number 31 with Chester this season.
