The Service des incendies de Montréal-Ouest ceased to exist in 2002 with the amalgamation of the city of Montréal-Ouest with the City of Montréal. In 2006, Montréal-Ouest regained its independence from the City of Montréal but the fire department remains centralized under the agglomeration council. The station is now SIM Station 77.
