Purple Team, officially known as NAVSPECWARCOM/NAVSPECWEP/Purple Team, was a SPARTAN-II unit attached to the 27th Naval Fleet, garrisoned aboard the Paris-class heavy frigate UNSC King's Vortex. It is notable that all members permanently assigned to the team survived the war, however; one SPARTAN temporarily attached to the team was reported KIA in 2551.
