Halo: Ad Terram is third/first-person tactical shooter released on March 12th, 2019 and saw the return of first-person Halo games to the PC platform since the release of Halo 2 Vista in 2007. Halo: Ad Terram was originally announced during Microsoft's E3 2016 Press Conference following the announcements of Halo 3: Anniversary and Halo 6. Ad Terram was released five months after the release of Halo 6 to strong sales and good reviews, and is often considered a successor to Halo 3: ODST as it saw the return of an ODST protagonist and the reintroduction of Firefight.
