At the beginning of The Fires of Heaven, she is camped with the other Dreamwalkers outside of Rhuidean. In FOH 5, she decides to ask Dorindha if she can marry Bael. She and the other Wise Ones follow Rand away from Rhuidean in FOH 7. At the beginning of Crossroads of Twilight, Melaine is in the besieged city of Caemlyn with Elayne.
