The Nice Ice Rod is an item from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It is a more powerful version of the Ice Rod. If Link has purchased the Ice Rod from Ravio, Mother Maiamai will upgrade it into the Nice Ice Rod after he rescues ten Lost Maiamais. The Nice Ice Rod can freeze enemies and objects as well as damage enemies like its predecessor; however, it has a much wider area, dropping four icicles. In addition, Link can choose where the icicles will fall by holding down the item button before dropping the icicles.
