Danny Burrows was Lucille Hewitt's boyfriend with whom she lived for two months in 1974. Danny met Lucille after separating from his wife Sandra. A grease monkey and motorbike lover, Danny had been mothered to an extent by Sandra and it had fallen to her to manage their finances as he didn't hand in money consistently. Danny preferred to take each day as it came and was vehemently opposed to having children with Sandra, leading her to make a stand and kick him out in October 1973. They kept in contact with Danny paying Sandra maintenance rather than forking out for a divorce.
