The 22nd infantry division was a military unit of Rebel soldiers that was formed in 1 BBY. Trained at a hidden base in the Outer Rim Territories, they had not seen combat. Despite their fear, they harbored a hatred for the Galactic Empire that Jedi General Rahm Kota planned to use against the numerically superior Imperial Military.
