The Batris was a Talarian freighter that was in service in the mid-24th century. In 2364, the Batris was commandeered by three renegade Klingons led by Commander Korris. The ship was tracked down in the Neutral Zone by the cruiser IKS T'Acog. After a brief battle, the renegades agreed to surrender, but when the T'Acog dropped its shields they opened fire with the merculite rockets that comprised the Batris' armament. The T'Acog was destroyed, but the Batris was heavily damaged.
