The Yald was a heavy cruiser in the service of the New Republic and the Galactic Alliance. It was the flagship of Commodore Brand during the Battle of Fondor. During the latter stages of the war, the Yald was assigned to Mon Calamari, where it participated in the defense of the world shortly before the end of the war.
