The Bajoran Ministry of Justice was an agency of the Bajoran Provisional Government, responsible for matters of Justice within Bajoran territory. Reports of serious crime, such as murder, on Deep Space 9 were filed with the Ministry of Justice. In April 2376 Ro Laren filed a report on the murder of Istani Reyla to the Ministry. Despite the known involvement of the Vedek Assembly in the murder, the fact that the murderer had also been killed made it unlikely the Ministry would pursue the matter any further.
