The 2013 Citrus Bowl will be played on January 7, 2013 and pit No. 1 Cuba against No. 2 Texas as the national championship game for the 2012-13 NCAA Division I football season. It will be the first time since 2003-04 that the Citrus Bowl hosts the national title game. Cuba becomes the first team to appear in consecutive national title games since Alabama in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
