Private First Class Young was landed on Omaha Beach. He was told to "'Get Ready" by Miller, as they were attacking a German Bunker and machine gun nest. He, along with Private Jackson and several other soldiers, was seen gunning down various fleeing German soldiers. He would later go on to survive D-day.
