Gate Security Protocol is initiated in the Dynamo Chamber of the Temple Grounds when Samus Aran scans an Interface Module in the room. It causes an Mk VII Defense Gate blocking the way out to lift, but it seals off the pathway behind her until she regains her Power Bomb.
