The planet of Pacis is a mid-sized world located within the notoriously densely packed star cluster at the center of the Galaxy known as the deep core. Hyperspace travel in this area can sometimes be extremely dangerous and the only safe hyperspace lane to and from the Charanos system is a very closely guarded secret of the Jedi Order. It is precisely because of this reason that the sentient population on this world remains nonexistent. It’s presence in the Deep Core makes scouting for hyperspace routes far too deadly This has rendered Pacis almost completely untouched by sentient life.
