Nigel Stock was a British actor who portrayed John Watson in the 1960s BBC series of Sherlock Holmes (a.k.a. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes). His version of Dr. Watson appeared in all episodes of the series and was in fact the only one role not to be recast between the pilot and the two individual series. Stock portrayed Watson from 1964 until the series' end in late 1968.
