The United Federation to Restore Humanity "Shadow" Special Warfare Group, also known as SHADSPECWAR and its operators commonly known as Shadows, is a special forces unit operating under the United Federation to Restore Humanity's Naval Division. When formed in late 2564, its original members were composed almost entirely of ex-Orbital Drop Shock Troopers and NAVSPECWAR operators whom donned these now-obsolete titles before the United Nations Space Command's collapse in 2562. The plans for the unit were supported by the tedious efforts of the ex-ODST's and NAVSPECWAR operators as they fought to restore order during the Splinter War.
