47-B-series droids were bipedal droids designed by Loratus Manufacturing to build and repair vehicles and buildings. This non-combat field droid had been adapted by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to assist in the repair of broken vehicles and damaged buildings amidst the heat of battle during the Galactic Civil War.
