Beast Affinity is a Beastmaster Merit trait in Final Fantasy XI. It increases the maximum level of pets by two levels when using Call Beast. This is a Group 2 Merit ability, and as such costs 3 Merit points for the initial rank, then 4 for the second, and 5 for the third. It is active so long as the Beastmaster remains level 75 and not in a capped level zone.
