Damien lived his life fighting so he didn't have time to make friends. When he found the powers of the red dragon and became the leader of the myth squadron he was a loner and didn't require help from his teammates, he then decided to leave the team but it wasn't until May convinced him to stay. He then befriended his teammates and became less of a loner. His best friend is Gabe and they have each other's back, he doesnt understand Sam left England but is glad that he's on the team. He treats Jay like a sister.
