Russell Hantz is a contestant from Survivor: Samoa, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, and Survivor: Redemption Island. Russell is widely regarded as the series' most infamous villain. He is notorious for his ability to locate several Hidden Immunity Idols unaided by clues, and for eliminating his competition as ruthlessly as possible. His past finally caught up to him in Redemption Island, where a target was immediately placed on his back. The Zapatera Six saw through his plans, and voted him out. He lost his first duel at Redemption Island, and was eliminated in 17th place.
