Sergeant Erica Fields was one of the few female Gears serving in a frontline role in the post-Emergence Day Coalition of Ordered Governments army. She fought during Operation: Hollow Storm, and during the Lambent Pandemic. She led Echo-One to Hanover for reconnaissance and supply run and was killed when KR Five-Seven was shot down by a Boomers over North Hanover as they were heading back to Anvil Gate. Her COG tags were taken by Samuel D. Byrne and given to her lover Lucas Troy.
