Cranbrook Point and Dunlop Point where part of the Barnwood Court Estate, and won a Civic Trust Design Award in 1968 for their architecture. Unfortunately, things deteriorated to the point, were in 1994 residents voted in a tennants ballot for their demolition and in August 1998 both blocks where pulled down. This Tower block features in the opening and ending scenes of the movie The Sandwich Man.
