In cooperation with Cochrane, the six extant L-5 colonies participated in a test of a stable subspace field in 2058. However, due to an unknown factor, all six disappeared and were presumed destroyed. (The Lost Era novel: The Sundered) On 05 April 2063, Cochrane and Lily Sloane launched the first successful warpflight test from Bozeman, Montana, using elements of a Titan missile.
