Alice Team formed in 2003 when Julien Desquenne was programming a game, and was looking for a graphics artist. Nicolas Pochet became that graphics artist, and the two began working on an adventure game titled Alice Dreams. Three demos were released, between 2004 and 2006. The third demo had two minigames in it. One was a card game, and the other was a party game called Dynamite Dreams. For the third annual Dream On Contest in 2005, the team submitted a more complete version of Dynamite Dreams. The contest was cancelled, but the Alice Team continued working on the game.
