The Garden of Eden was said to be the place where the Black Stone fell from Heaven. Originally white, the stone became black when it absorbed the sins of Adam. God exiled Cain from Eden when he introduced murder to the world by killing his brother Abel. During Henry Walton Jones, Senior's world lecture tour, his friend Richard Medlicot likened British East Africa (modern-day Kenya) to the Garden of Eden while living there.
